Petroleum PS, EPRA Boss and KPC Managing Director Arrested in Major Crackdown

News of a former politician’s death surfaced online, casting a sombre mood across sections of the public. Reports identified the deceased as Peter Kaula, a former Member of County Assembly.

Sources indicated that Kaula represented Wang’chieng Ward from 2013 to 2022 under local leadership structures. They also noted that he belonged to the Karachuonyo community, although details surrounding his death remain unclear.

Leaders and residents described Kaula as a dedicated public servant who supported development and community progress. Many said his passing leaves a major gap among people who depended on his leadership and guidance.

His close associates described him as a mentor who actively encouraged young people to join politics. They explained that he guided several youths and helped them build confidence in public leadership roles.

Personal aide Ocholla Moses said Kaula treated people with respect regardless of political differences or disagreements. He added that the former MCA often interacted freely with critics and maintained strong relationships across divides.

Residents credited him with pushing development initiatives that improved livelihoods within Wang’chieng Ward over the years. They said his commitment to service and leadership will remain part of the area’s political legacy.

The family has preserved his body at a hospital morgue as they continue planning burial arrangements. Relatives and friends have continued gathering at his home daily to hold prayers and support each other.

Kenyans online shared condolence messages, expressing sympathy and solidarity with the bereaved family during this difficult time. Many urged the family to remain strong while remembering the positive impact Kaula made in society.

The news comes shortly after Ol Kalou Member of Parliament David Njuguna Kiaraho died while receiving treatment in India. His family has scheduled burial on April 10, 2026, at his home in Tigoni, Limuru Constituency.
