Kenya Airways has appointed four new members to its Board of Directors. The announcement, made on Thursday, March 5, revealed the names of the new non-executive directors.
The newly appointed directors are Kiprono Kittony, Chris Diaz, Winnie Iminza Nyamute, and David Ndii. Their appointments are part of the airline’s effort to strengthen its leadership team.
Kiprono Kittony, the current chairman of the Nairobi Securities Exchange, has been appointed as the Chairman and Independent Non-Executive Director. He brings a wealth of experience to the role, having revitalized the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Kittony has held leadership positions in several major organizations. These include Creditinfo CRB Kenya, Mtech Limited, Betway Kenya, and Radio Africa Group. His experience spans various industries, further enhancing Kenya Airways’ leadership structure.
Beyond Kenya, Kittony holds influential roles in international organizations. He advises IFHA, a private equity fund based in Amsterdam, and serves as Vice Chairman of the World Chambers Federation in Paris. In this capacity, he represents Africa on the global stage.
