How to Create an Account
Applicants should visit the official KNEC e-certificate portal to begin the process. They must register using a valid email address.
The system sends a One-Time Password (OTP) after registration. Applicants should enter the code before it expires to activate their accounts.
Existing users do not need another registration. They only request a fresh OTP before accessing their dashboards.
Update Personal Information
Applicants should complete their profiles before requesting certificates. They must provide accurate personal information during this stage.
The required details include the full name and date of birth. Applicants also provide their phone number and national identification details where applicable.

Generate the Digital Certificate
Applicants should select the Generate e-Certificate option after updating their profiles. They must then enter their KCSE index number and examination year.
